Only a week in possession but here are my three favourite travel apps/sites so far.

1. Tube Status

View a one page status overview of all lines on the London underground. Includes detailed line messages.

Also found this useful London Underground Map formatted for the iPhone.

2. iQype

Taps into Qype’s review network on the move. Covers 600 locations across 5000 categories and more than 200,000 reviews.

3. Live UK Rail Journey Planner

Timetables and easy to use departure and arrival times across the network.

Any others you’d recommend?

Well, I have just installed a new theme which should make my blog viewable on an iPod. Couldn’t try it out for me could you? :)

Billy - not yet tried but I hear Trusted Places has an iPhone version too.

Darren - Works a treat! Like how the search/menu are at the top, just below the Travel Rants masthead. I just tried hunting around for an iPhone simulator - found iPhoney, looks good, only for the mac though.
