Three more blogs for you…

TourCMS logoAlex Bainbridge has a blog about travel ecommerce with a spotlight on smaller tour operators. Not from the Twitter school of blogging, I like his in-depth posts. Alex runs Travel UCD, the business responsible for TourCMS, a web based reservation system for small tour operators.

Brand Canada logoSteve Wright is a tourism marketing consultant and blogs at ‘The Brand Canada Blog‘ and ‘Destination Branding Blog‘ and covers recent destination marketing campaigns.

etourismus logoGerwin Gfrerer runs the Austrian blog eTourismus.info with an emphasis on reservation systems, destination management systems and online marketing in tourism.

Two more online travel blogs

Thanks to the T list I’ve come across two more online travel blogs:

Tom runs ‘Blog on Travel: Decrypting the Online Travel Industry‘. Started in July 2006 and with around 20 posts to date the blog already has over 250 readers.

Relactions logoItaly based Relactions have a blog about online travel marketing with a mixture of news and views including their highlights from the recent PhocusWright conference. A recent post lists a number of warning signs to look out for when choosing a SEO agency.

New OrleansXavier Cobos has a blog covering travel, tourism and destination branding. He has just got cracking but starts with a post on how the New Orleans CVB (Convention & Visitors Bureau) is undergoing an aggressive rebranding campaign.

Joe Buhler’s blog is titled ‘Travel and Tourism in the age of Web 2.0 | Destination Marketing Strategy & Analysis’. He posts regularly with news and experienced insights into the world of global destination marketing and beyond.

Started back in October of last year, Jens Thraenhart has already made over fifty posts covering eStrategies for the Travel and Tourism industry. He balances this well with the odd post and links to sites of general interest and online trends.
