Operating within 250,000 acres of Highland Perthshire Estate, Highland Safaris offer a unique range of Safari products combining breathtaking scenery, Scottish heritage and inspirational adventure.

Their products for the leisure market are suitable for tour groups, stag and hen groups, special occasions and local tourists or daytrippers.

Recently the company has launched a range of memorable products within the corporate sector with team building activites alongside tailor made experiences including hospitality in the hills of Highland Perthshire.

The combination of a company rebrand and the development of corporate products meant it was essential the web site represented the changes whilst still being able to successfully reach and retain leisure and corporate visitors.

We worked closely with Highland Safaris and their marketing team during the pre production phase and recommended the creation of two separate sites.

Results

Within two months of the site launch we have already seen a vast improvement on key site indicators.

Bounce rate

On the previous site from April ’07 to April ’08 there was an average bounce rate of 64%. The redeveloped site is now experiencing a bounce rate at less than half of this, at 30%.

What is the bounce rate?

Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page visits (i.e. visits in which the person left your site from the entrance page). Bounce Rate is a measure of visit quality and a high Bounce Rate generally indicates that site entrance (landing) pages aren't relevant to your visitors.

Conversions

The number of site visitors converting i.e. completing the form for product bookings has increased by 50%.
